My journey into face painting began 20 years ago in Ireland, when a friend handed me some brushes and paints and asked me to paint a few faces at a party. By the end of the day I knew I had discovered my true passion.In 2010 I moved back to the UK and was thrilled to be named UK Face Painter of the Year. Soon after, I met my husband and we moved to Australia in 2011, where I’ve been lucky enough to paint at major festivals, sporting events and stadiums, shop openings, cultural celebrations — and countless backyard parties across Melbourne. Like many creatives, I paused my business during the COVID and moved into disability support work. I’m now back with fresh energy, new designs, and an even deeper love for what I do. I only use high-quality, cosmetic-grade, hypoallergenic face paints that are gentle on sensitive skin. I clean every face before I begin and use a fresh sponge on every face. Whether I’m creating a sparkly princess, a roaring dinosaur, or a custom design on the spot, my favourite moment is always watching the big smile when a child looks in the mirror. I especially love the intimate setting of family celebrations — helping to make birthdays, school fêtes, and special occasions truly magical for the whole family.
